Read your task for language week. Get in a group with other students. Decide the language and story/fairy tale/fable you will make a video of: In groups of minimum 3 people, you are going to make a video where you are going to tell a story in your nativelanguage (if this is different from English and Chinese) or in Spanish. Requirements:
- The video-story should not last more than 4 minutes.
- It needs to include subtitles in English.
- It will need to be ready for Languages Week (first weekof February).
- You will need to use some time outside the classroom to prepare it (eg. lunch time or after school)
Suggestions:
- The story can be a popular one from the country or culture chosen.
- To tell a Fable would be quite suitable, as this is a short story and you can find the translation in English more easily.
- Be creative: use different voices, costumes, music, backgrounds etc.

In the 2nd column without looking in your book write the English translation or draw a small picture to represent the word. Finally, fold back the 1st column so you can´t see it and in the 3rd column write the Spanish translation of the English words in the 2nd column.

Revise Module 1 Mira 3 textbook and your vocabulary columns that you wrote to prepare to finish your final assessment for Module 1.
If you have taken the speaking assessment, then you will need to listen to your assessment (check your email):
tick the grading criteria categories: A/B/C
If you used 3 verb tenses you can get a level 6.
Write in the comments any errors that you might have heard yourself make and then write the correction for those areas.
If you show that you know the answer but just made a speaking mistake, you have a chance for a higher grade!
We will finish the Module 1 assessment on March 17th. Next week you will not have class due to FOBISIA.
TASK FOR WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 25TH (hw for Wed. Feb. 25th) To check for the Module 1 final assessment you must write the translation of the Spanish vocabulary to using the handout Given in class.
You should write at least 1.1-1.3 vocabulary. And learn the words you do not know.
Then finish writing 1.4, 1.5, and Estrategía (revise verbs in preterite)-and learning the words you DO NOT know by Tuesday March 3rd.
If you have time it is best to complete all by Feb. 25th.
You will have a reading assessment on the 25th. On March 3rd you will have a listening, writing, and speaking assessment.

Read your task for language week. Get in a group with other students. Decide the language and story/fairy tale/fable you will make a video of:
In groups of minimum 3 people, you are going to make a video where you are going to tell a story in your nativelanguage (if this is different from English and Chinese) or in Spanish.

- The video-story should not last more than 4 minutes.
- It needs to include subtitles in English.
- It will need to be ready for Languages Week (first weekof February).
- You will need to use some time outside the classroom to prepare it (eg. lunch time or after school)
Suggestions:
- The story can be a popular one from the country or culture chosen.
- To tell a Fable would be quite suitable, as this is a short story and you can find the translation in English more easily.
- Be creative: use different voices, costumes, music, backgrounds etc.

-Follow the models and look at your handouts.
